Meet Jennifer Moore for Council

A native of Marlton, New Jersey, Jennifer relocated to the Tampa Bay area in Florida to facilitate the relocation and operation of her family’s manufacturing business, serving as the Vice President of Sales.

Jennifer studied Political Science at the University of Tampa and has held positions in Fortune 500 companies as well as large manufacturing firms. Jennifer has over 15 years of hands-on experience in community engagement and fundraising for various charitable organizations.

Jennifer was a member of the Tampa Jaycees for 10 years and served on the board as the Vice President of Individual Development from 2010 to 2011. In this position, Jennifer was responsible for guest speakers, educational workshops, training, and cultural enrichment.

Jennifer served as the Public Relations Director for T.R.E.E. Inc. and participated in community tree plantings. A parcel of land is dedicated in her honor in St. Petersburg, Florida for her hard work and dedication to the organization. Jennifer also served on the fundraising committee and volunteered at the Abilities Foundation of Florida throughout her time living in Florida.

While Jennifer enjoyed living on Florida’s Gulf Coast, she wanted to return to her roots in Southern New Jersey as her family has resided in Camden County for over 100 years. Jennifer is the grand-niece of long-time Haddon Heights residents, Vincent and Marie Tomei who were also very active in the community. Jennifer relocated to Haddon Heights in 2016 and currently works for a Fortune 500 firm in Center City.

Jennifer is currently serving on Borough Council for the remainder of an unexpired term and she is currently the only Republican member on Council. It is important to keep the two-party system in place within the local government to ensure that all residents are represented.

While serving on Council Jennifer has had an impeccable record of attendance at all meetings and work sessions. Jennifer is the Council Liaison for the Haddon Heights Neighbors, Small Explorer’s Park and Shade Tree Commission.
